1. What is Media? Media is what is all around us, it is advertisement, music, imagery etc.. it can have the power to persuade you into buying something or simply sooth you by listening to your favorite song. Media has the ability to entertain you, not to mention sell to you.

2. What is your favorite form of media? My favorite form of media is music, it allows me to express myself and brings me to a place that i can be alone wenever i need to be, and need to be away from the world around us. Music allows me to let out my emotions and thoughts.

3. What medium do you use the most? The medium that i use the most is the internet,i can search the web, look at the upcoming weather, talk to my friends, listen to music and do pretty much whatever i want to whenever i want to.

4. Where does media make itself visible in your life? Media makes itself most visible in my life when it comes to listening to music, i use my I pod, my computer or even the tv sometimes to listen to my favorite songs, lets not forget when im in the car i must always be listening to my favorite music.

5. What is the impact of media on our society? Media has a big impact in our society, it can lead to people believing things that may not even be true such as when the news talks about the war in Iraq, it mostly shows the USA in the right and Iraq in the wrong. Media has the ability to influence our society but on the contrary media can amuse us and entertain us.

I chose this picture to represent a stereotype because in this picture they are showing a typical racial stereotype. They are showing a Muslim in a terrorist jacket and with a mean smirk on his face. This picture represents the ''terrorist'' stereotype because they make it seem as if every Muslim in the world is a terrorist and all do mean things and kill people. We clearly all no that this is not true.

We have looked at how we make decisions, Do we truly make our decisions?

I believe that we do make our own descisions, but that being said i also believe that media plays a big role in ''helping'' and influencing us to make descisions especially when that descsion consists of buying any sort of product. I also believe that another part of our descision making is on how we feel about the product, if we feel an sense of liking to the product we will tend to lean more towards that product, for example: If you walk in the store and pick out 2 different style of shoes, the one that catches your eye and gives u a good first impression on will most likely be the one you are leaving the store with.
